a human goes into a literal cave. they proceed past a point that forces them to squeeze their body through a hole like a snake, far from daylight or any help

no, no.

deep in a cave within a cave, past turnaround point (where Internet Historian says experienced spelunkers call it quits, and turn back)

a few go through a space so tight they have to take shallow breaths to narrow their chests. life is like that all the time and we feel it once in a while

down and past that point, things are so real, they can't be real. but, they're real.

floyd collins was stuck under the earth. he was trying to open a way to access some really beautiful formations. This video tells the story that Floyd was hoping to somehow profit off tourism once he'd opened a decent passage

during the months-long process

he got stuck at the bottom of an L shaped passage

with his leg pinned by a large rock that had fallen

gravel was also dislodged

heaped over his whole body,

other than his face

but there are ads, too many ads

splintering my focus
